The ‘Grammy Hall of Fame’ inducted 25 timeless tracks, some of which, surprisingly weren’t already there. These include songs by the greats such as Prince, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Nirvana to name a few. These will be a part of the class belonging to 2017 and justify the principles which have made the academy a renowned one.

In order to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, the tracks have to satisfy certain criteria. The criteria would be to be at least 25 years old. Tracks like ‘Losing My Religion’ by R.E.M, ‘Smells like Teen Spirt’ by Nirvana, the ever popular theme ‘Mission Impossible’ by Lalo Schifrin are a part of the inductees which has now reached a count of 1,038.

The academy aims at maintaining the high standards set in music with quality worth exhibiting or the significance to the industry being inevitably impeccable. The Recording Academy (Grammy) is a well know organization, mostly for its awards i.e. The Grammy Awards, which by the way will be held on the 12th of February; nonetheless, it strives to improve, maintain and recognize music in all it’s elements. The Spotify playlist shows all the tracks that have been indicted for the benefit of those who wouldn’t have found it already. For those who have been into music as a religion, or have simply followed it well enough, most of the tracks will be already known to you’ll.
