Based on a novel written by Edward St. Aubyn, Patrick Melrose have been adapted into a limited Tv mini-series. Released in the UK on January 4, 2018, it’s yet to air in the US and other countries.

Even the lofty production of the mini-series is being adapted, Benedict is portraying a character which is quite difficult and dark comic. Patrick Melrose is a character in the book who is usually dependent on the substance. It doesn’t matter if its alcohol or cigarettes. But you can never find him sober. There is a reason for the character to be more sloppy and dependent though. Its because the character was born in aristocratic bon viveur manner with a traumatic past.

The miniseries actually made of five parts. Sweeping through the south of France in the 60s, New York in the 80s and London in the early 2000s, the books subvert the view of the upper class, and the TV adaptation looks to do the same.
The series will have a visual style that of the same era. Thanks to Director Edward Berger.
