Ed Sheeran has been on a hiatus for quite a while now considering that his last music was in early 2015. The ginger Brit has released not one, but two amazing singles. We believe that these are part of a rumoured “Divide” album and the album art hints at the same. These albums are probably the only math some of us need. For those looking for the tracks, scroll down below.
Ed Sheeran says that the song “Shape of You” was written with Rihanna in mind. The synthesised beats do make us believe the same. He did, however, joke that “Rihanna is not going to sing these words so kept it to myself”. The new Ed Sheeran singles of 2017 have been a good way to christen the year for some of his fans.

Teasy album art: –
“Castle on the hill” has a minus sign while “Shape of you” has two dots. The combination of the two gives a “Divide”. The division sign hints at the potential name of the album. Social media has erupted with memes, appreciation, and overreactions to the much-loved star. Having penned songs for several artists including the likes of Taylor Swift and One Direction the singer has finally returned to do some music of his own.
We expect a lot: –
A long time ago, Ed posted on his Instagram handle that he would on a social hiatus. He added that his album would be the best thing he made yet. I’ll take his word for it. Hopefully, the tracks will be out soon and we can connect with the magic of music. Something I’ve found in his songs and I believe you can too.
How twitter erupted!
I’ve seen some funny tweets and I’ve shared the ones I personally liked. I hope you like them and enjoyed the new tracks as well.
