Till date, Apple manufactures iPhones for India in its other plants and imports to India. This brings them around to India with very huge price tags. But Now —
Apple inc. will begin manufacturing iPhones in Bangalore (Bengaluru) beginning April of 2017 to assist their guarantee of Make in India and to guarantee their capacity to open self possessed and kept up stores in India. Earlier, Apple had wanted to open their own leader stores in a few urban communities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, yet because of the administration consistencies of requiring to assemble in India, the procedure was postponed. Tim Cook’s late visit to India was a positive sign on the endeavors of the Cupertino based tech monster, to completely start and incorporate it’s administrations in the Indian market.
This Cupertino based Tech Giant can hence bring down the costs of manufacturing , duties and taxes which will allow Apple to bring down and set its prices tags competitively. Presently iPhone 7 ( Present Flagship ) can be bought in its home country for $649 ( which translates roughly to INR 44,000 ). But in India it is priced at around INR 65,000. Now that’s some very serious steep difference in price. With this move, Apple may bring prices by around INR 10,000 to 15,000 which bring it at par with its US price and other flagships in Indian Market.
Currently Apple is selling at very high numbers and if our estimation turned out to be true, then this number will increase by even higher margin. Thanks to Tim Cook from every Indian who dreamed of buying an iPhone 😀 !!
