It appears that expanded cinematic universes are going to be as common with the franchises as sequels are now. Talking of which, The Mummy (2017) first full length trailer is out, which is going to be the first in Universal’s gods and monsters cinematic universe. The trailer teases gods and monsters and gives us a good look about the things to come. The reboot stars Tom Cruise and is directed by Alex Kurtzman.


Aside from its dark tone, the trailer teases the death defying actions and stunts that certainly gave me a vibe of Tom Cruise’s popular movie franchise ‘Mission Imposible’. And Since it’s going to be an expanded cinematic universe, we can expect Universal’s Dracula and Wolfman to interconnect in the films that follow.
