It’s that time of the year again; time to ogle at Samsung’s newest Galaxy member, time to welcome Galaxy S8 & S8+. After weathering the issues surrounding Note 7, Samsung promises things will only get better. And according to Samsung, S8/S8+ has gone through some intense safety checks to provide the safest experience possible.
So, what’s new?
Samsung has named its revolutionary display technology ‘Infinity Display’. It is a curved display that tucks right onto the sides. This phone provides the best screen to body ratio in this segment & assures less scrolling than ever.
Samsung just added their contender in the world of voice assistants by introducing Bixby. An AI driven, context-aware voice/text assistant system which promises greatness & simplicity. Samsung claims Bixby to be better than its competitors and from what we’ve seen so far, things look promising. The feature which caught my eye was how it detects behavioural patterns. For example, if you’re used to listening to some podcast pretty regularly it will set a reminder to make sure you never miss your favourite voice on the internet.
No home button:
Due to Infinity Display, Samsung has scrapped the physical home buttons completely. Not a change everyone would appreciate I’m guessing.
This device will also be water and dust resistant like its predecessors & Samsung has also promised stunning imagery even under sub-par lighting conditions.
Display: 5.8 inch(S8) || 6.2 inch(S8+)
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
or Samsung Exynos 8895

Both the devices will face some serious heat from Apple’s 10th-anniversary edition offerings which will come out later this year. S8 & S8+ will hit the shelves on April 21st.
