After a pretty long wait, we finally have the first full Spider-man Homecoming Trailer and it’s goddamn awesome and using ‘time to pretend’ by MGMT as the trailer song was an added bonus. Tom Holland reprises his role as a young spider-man in his first solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Everyone loved Tom Holland as Spider-man in Captain America: Civil War this year and it looks like we are gonna love him even more in his own movie!

As announced yesterday in a short teaser for the trailer, Marvel released the first Spider-man Homecoming Trailer on Jimmy Kemmel Live.

We have already got 5 live-action spider-man movies courtesy to Sony. Spider-man: Homecoming is going to be the 2nd reboot of the character but it is going to be different from his previous incarnations as we finally have a teenage spider-man existing in a world full of other superheroes (Yeah! LIKE IN THE COMICS!!).

The official synopsis for the movie has also been released- ‘a young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.’

Spider-man’s copyrights belong to Sony which resulted in his appearance in MCU being not a possibility but after failure of the studio’s attempt to reboot the character, Sony decided to make an agreement with Marvel Studios to let the character appear in MCU and have co-produced solo spidey movies.

Spider-man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei. Robert Downey Jr. will also make an appearance as Tony Stark. It is going to be released on June 7, 2017.
