A new TV spot for Resident Evil 7 has arrived. The new trailer shows house of horrors that is the Baker home. It shows the various creepy things, the player will be dealing with, in the game. The demo of Resident Evil 7’s Beginning Hour is available for PS4 and Xbox One and it releases on PC, December 19. Capcom hopes that Resident Evil 7 sell 4 million copies on the day of release.
The game is set in 2017, approximately 4 years after the events of Resident Evil 6 in the fictional city of Dulvey, Louisiana in the Southern United States. It features a new protagonist named Ethan Winters who is a civilian that offers fewer combat skills than most previous game’s main characters. Ethan is searching for his missing wife, Mia, which leads him to a derelict plantation mansion, home of the Baker family.
Although connections to previous games in the series will be made, the game will feature an entirely new cast of characters. The title of the game, which for the first time contains in it both the “Resident Evil” and “Biohazard” brand names of the series across all regions, is said to be a clue to what’s behind the game’s plot.
The game is slated for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PlayStation 4 version having support for the PlayStation VR headset. It will be the eleventh entry into the main Resident Evil series, and the first main series installment to be played from a first-person perspective. It will be released worldwide in January 2017
