That time again, where we put out a playlist for you people! We decided to stick to rock music for a while, but instead, decided to have some rock ballads for a change. What is a rock ballad? Well, a rock ballad is basically a rock song, with emotion the center focus of the song. It can be about love, mostly is, but can also relate to anything that can matter to someone emotionally. Our rock playlist for today includes some popular ballads by popular artists, and we hope, to introduce you’ll to some great ballads. We shall do this on a regular basis, so do keep revisiting! Also, our rock playlist (s) are purely based on popular artists with unheard songs or great songs by unheard artists.

Playlist Details:-

1) Always – Bon Jovi
Although Bon Jovi needs no introduction, this track is pretty unheard despite being one of their best. True that the rock fans will have heard it, but nonetheless,  a track worth introducing to others out there.

2) Please forgive Me – Bryan Adams
Golden Adams at his best! This is the true definition of a rock ballad (in case you can’t explain it to someone).

3) Patience – Guns N Roses
Fun activity:- Make someone guess the artist as you play the song out. It’s hard to believe that this song is by Guns N Roses.

4) Iris – Goo Goo Dolls
Yes, the name of the band is Goo Goo Dolls! I can assure you, however, that the song isn’t ‘goo goo’ at all.

5) I don’t want to miss a thing – Aerosmith
My personal favorite for ballads is Aerosmith. He has other ballads too, so do check them out! (I’ll feature them in upcoming playlists though).

6) Love song – Tesla
This song is the group’s biggest hit till date. It’s a powerful ballad that defines how good the band is.

7) Mama, I’m coming Home – Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne at his best! The song is about his wife Sharon Osbourne who he has nicknamed ‘mama’ and this refers to his imminent retirement.

8) Better Man – Pearl Jam
One of the greatest songs ever by Pearl Jam and a part of their album ‘Rearviewmirror (greatest hits 1993-2001) ‘

9) Voices – Cheap Trick
A song from 1979, that some of you’ll may have heard in ‘How I met your Mother’ is a popular track by ‘Cheap Trick’. Undoubtedly their finest track!

10) You’re my everything – Renegade
A lovely song by ‘Renegade’ who are pretty underrated. They deserve more. Show them love!
