More from us: Shazam! Director Confirms Realease Date

Filming officially started back in May with James Wan at the Director’s chair. It took almost half a year for the director who gave us movies like Saw and The Conjuring to be done with the shooting. His notable accomplishments are the reason fans are optimistic of Wan delivering another unforgettable masterpiece.

The official synopsis for Aquaman reads:

Arthur Curry/Aquaman is the reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Apart from Momoa/Aquaman and Heard/Mera, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will also feature in the movie as Ocean Master, Nuidis Vulko and Black Manta respectively.

Even before Aquaman hits the screens on December 21, 2018, fans will see Momoa along with the rest of the Justice League( Coz “You Can’t Save The World Alone” 😉 ) take on Steppenwolf and his parademon army. Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
